Eva-Maria Offermann, who now lives in Berlin, started her studio in 2012. Her work is based on concepts shifting between art and design. She started her education in Fine Arts at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart. After two years, she switched to Communication Design, receiving her degree in 2012 under the professorship of Niklaus Troxler. The beginning of her education supports her research based approach to design, and is framed by a variety of working experiences in galleries and museums. Since then, she is beeing interested in transdisciplinary perspectives and working constellations. While running her own studio, she took up work as an artistic associate in the editorial class of Gabriele Franziska Götz at Kunsthochschule Kassel (2013–16). Offermann’s concepts are based on environmental and social consciousness. She is aware of the fact that printed objects are visual voices in the urban space, and that as such, they contribute to the negotiation of social norms.

Running collaborations
[ > Maria Fallada started an internship in the studio in November 2017, specifically collaborating in the development of an illustrative schoolbook. She studied at EINA, Barcelona, receiving her degree in Graphic Design and Visual Creation in 2016.
[ > Paul Zink Yi is an autodidact who works for artistic and media matter. As a photographer he develops his own projects. In the studio, he codes for the automated design project. Eva-Maria and Paul team up under the name “undefined is not an object.”
